Services for Organizations
If you work or volunteer for a Sunshine Coast nonprofit, or even an informal community group, we can help connect you with potential volunteers. This is how it works -
On behalf of your organization, you will need to complete a volunteer request form.
As soon as the completed form is returned to us, we will post your available position to our current volunteer opportunities list, both in our office and on our website, and start to refer potential volunteers. In addition, if your organization chooses to become a member of the SC Volunteer Centre, we will post your position in the local newspaper, the Coast Reporter, in the Volunteer Opportunities section.
We at the Sunshine Coast Volunteer Centre are a resourceful bunch! A large part of the services we provide helps Sunshine Coast organizations find the resources they need to run smoothly and effectively. If you decide to become a member, we are available to provide private consultations for you and your organization. Click here to see the membership page for more information.
We also run nonprofit workshops several times a year that are relevant and extremely helpful to nonprofits, especially new ones. Members have first choice to attend our workshops, often at discounted prices. See our What’s New? section for upcoming workshops we plan to host. We also include links to off-Coast learning opportunities that might be of interest.
